The Rev Brooke Bridges Stevens, Chaplain of the forces died in Montreal, Que
on the 13th inst.
What is the significance of this death to you? I have quite a bit of
information about him and his wife, Elizabeth Nelles. He was baptized in
Quomdon, Leicestershire, England on 3 Aug 1787. He immigrated to Canada
about 1819.

way in the Market Square
On 26th inst. Joseph, son of William Jackes of this city, aged 19 yeard
