Hello,
I have a database of Detroit adult deaths 1867-1897 and will look up
names at no cost. These death records were microfilmed by LDS.

Hi All:
I'm new to researching in the United States. I would like to do a posting about an
ancestor who died in 1892 in Detroit, Michigan, but I'm not sure what list to use.
This ancestor was a Canadian, who apparently moved to the U.S. to live with a family
member for a few years. I have a newspaper clipping which indicates he died in Detroit,
but he was returned to Ontario, Canada for burial. I'm wondering how I might obtain a
death certificate/registration for him? I'm hoping if I can obtain this I might learn
more about exactly where he was living.
I will be grateful for any help/advice in my search for more information on this person.
