Noeline,
I am so glad I could help! It was just your lucky day that I had today off from work and
was trying to clear out a backlog of genealogy emails. Your message interested me, and
given my
subscription, I thought I'd give it a try. You needn't send
me anything since I really didn't incur any expense other than my time. However,
should you get the chance to help another researcher, please do so.
Amador County is in the northeastern part of California. If you look at a map, it is east
of Sacramento, the state capital. Most counties along the northeastern foothills and
mountains of California were known for gold mining back in the mid to late 1800's.
As to the death certificate, California has strict requirements for a certified copy.
They will, however, send you an informational copy upon request and receipt of the $12.00
fee. The website I sent you for the state of California should help you with submitting
the request. Amador County can also send you a death certificate but you will have to
follow similar procedures and pay the same fee (but sometimes the counties are faster than
the state!)
Let me know if you want me to look for those uncles. I did see more than one Rashleigh on
the California Death index. Please let me know if you need further assistance in
submitting your request for the death certificate.
Now back to trying to find my Campbells and Havens from somewhere in Michigan!

my bank as I am in Australia. Where is Amador County? My sister use to go to
California alot as her Daughter ,was the Nanny to Telly Savarlus, The actors
Daughter Christina, of her children. I have photo's of them.
I would like to send you something for doing this for me. I have put his

brothers etc also went over to America.
Thanks you so much. Can you send me your address please.
Best regards., Thank you.
