The following in the 1930 Census seems to be the one you are looking for. It
does show this one in Imlay.

The following seem less likely to be yours. Sometimes Census records were
taken at differnet dates in different cities and as people moved, they may
be found in two Censuses.

The following also may be the one:

Subject: [MIGEN] Imlay City Cemetery
Hello!
I have been all over the web trying to find information on where my
husband's grandfather is buried.
I'm hoping someone can help me or give me some ideas or direct me
elsewhere.
I'm looking for info on Herman W. SCHROEDER. His death certificate says
"Herman W. Schroeder",
and I believe he went by Herman. I think his full name was Gustave Herman
William Schroeder.
Born 27 Jan 1876, Germany; died 28 Oct 1937 in Imlay City, MI. The death
certificate says he was
buried in the Imlay Township Cemetery. Undertaker was Fancher & Smith.
I can find no listings of persons buried there. Would like to know where
he is buried so we can visit
next year. His wife was Anna STOLDT, born 3 Nov 1879 in Capac, MI, and
died 27 Dec 1945 Imlay
City, MI. I would assume there are buried together.
Any help is most appreciated.
Sue Schroeder
Los Lunas, NM
