I went on Ancestry and discovered that Robert was the literary editor of the '27
yearbook for Ogden High School. His picture appears in the book several times.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to come up with any information related to the
University of Michigan.

Subject: [MIGEN] University of Michigan at Ann Arbor Yearbooks
I am looking for a face to go with a name. The name is Robert G. True. He
was born in Ogden, Utah, in 1908.
The face should be in the University of Michigan yearbooks for the years
1938 when he won a scholarship in the oriental languages, and perhaps also
1939.
I don't know where Robert was from 1939 to 1942. In 1942 he enlisted into
the Army, served as a translator in Army intelligence until the end of WW
II.
Robert returned to the University of Michigan in 1946 at which time he
earned the Hopwood Award for creative writing. In 1947 he received
additional recognition from the University for his scholastic achievement.
Does anyone know if the University of Michigan yearbooks have been published
online, or does anyone have access to the yearbooks from those years and can
do a look up for me?
Thanks for any wisdom out there. -- Alice in Maryland
