The next meeting of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan on November 13th
will be co-sponsored by the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research..... Title:
"Women's Lives in Seventeenth Century France"......................Speaker:
Dr. Janine Lanza, Associate Professor of History, Wayne State University.
Come and learn about what kind of lives our ancestors left behind when they settled in New
France.
Time & Location: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010. Friends Conference Room of
the Detroit Main Library (refreshments will be served at 1:30 p.m.).
Free parking in the lot on the south side of the Main Library.
FCHSM members will be allowed free access to use of the Burton Historical Collection on
that day only. So, come early and plan to do some research!
Library opens 10:00 am.
