At FGS this week,
FamilySearch.org announced over 200 million searchable records have been
added to the
FamilySearch.org website. Over 5 million of these records are from Michigan
in three databases. While these Michigan records are not complete for the years
mentioned, they are these represent records filmed by LDS at the county, city and
township level that have been available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City
and at many Family History Centers. If your ancestor was born, christened, married, died
or buried in one of the areas filmed they may be included in these new databases available
on your home computer.
