town, but may have been close to Coldwater. My great-grandfather owned
a gas station there in the 1920's.
Thank you.

I'm looking for any help in identifying where I may find records of the
Golden Gloves from the Detriot area. I have a cousin who was raised
by another family and he boxed in Detroit in the 1930-1950 era. I know
he made the papers at least once, but his half sister wasn't really sure
when the picture was taken, and now it has been lost. Any help would
be appreciated.

Hello!
Could someone please try to find A Stanislaw (also went by Stephan, Stash and Stanley) SZEWCZYK, birn in Poland about 1872? He may have a daughter named Helen living with him.
Thank you very much for this look up. Any help with finding SZEWCZYKs in Detroit would be wonderful!
