Hi there I am a new member of your mailing list . I live in Canada and wonder if you could help me. I have been trying to locate a missing aunt for some time. I think I may have found her but this person passed away Jan. 2, 1999 @ age 93. I have found a DOROTHY HART who died in EAST LANSING MI. on Jan 2, 1999. The info from the S.S.D.I. (found on a cd) seems to fit. Is there some way SKS would look up the death notice for me? Also is there some address I can use to contact the S.S.D.I. people to find out if this is in fact my aunt? I live in Canada and have no idea how your system works. Thank you for any assistance you may be able to extend. Carol

I hate to bother the list with a new update on Larry so soon, but since Friday when I sent out the last he has regained the movement in the muscles in both of his legs. Although his muscles are very weak, he was able to push hard enough for his therapist to feel it. His two surgeons and his doctor at the rehab hospital have never told us anything, but that he would always be in a wheel chair, with no movement from the waist down.
Thank you so much everyone for your powerful prayers. Larry is a miracle in progress and I know you will all be thrilled to be a part of this wonderful healing.
Love and Blessings,
Larry and Jo Sebasta
PS: Of the hundreds emails I recieved, only one negative person told me to get a life. The rest of you are just too awesome.
Hello Eldon and list members,
The 1870 census pages are available via the Library of Michigan web site

Yes, it's the scanned pages - not an extraction.
