Hi, my name is Kevin Mead. I'm looking for any Mead information. I know
that some of my Meads are buried in Eaton Co. in the Meadowbrook
Cemetery, some were in Gratiot Co. and may be buried there also. Also
does anyone know, can I get access to 1800 to 1900 census's for Mchigan
Co., or the entire state, online without paying for it. Anything you
could offer may help me. I'm looking for many people, some I don't even
know yet, so if you have any Mead connections please email me and we can
figure out if there is a connection to what I have.
Thank You,
Kevin (NY)
Looking for information on any of the following Carrow families;
Peter Carrow born October 1822 Lower Canada/Canada East. Peter
ended up in Berkshire Vermont around 1850 married to Agnes Baraw
(original french is actually Berard). He seems to have remained in
this area as he later lived at Jay and Troy VT.
Here are my Peter and Agnes Carrow's children, (you can see that some
left VT)
Nelson B born Feb 1851 VT - married Ida Peabody, living CT 1900 census
Salina born 1853 VT
Peter b. Mar 1854 Vt - m. Sarah Bailey,living Methuen MA 1900 census
Marcellous (Mark) born 1857 VT - married Helen Putnam, living Haverhill
MA 1900 census
Lewis born c1859 VT
Joseph born 1860 VT
Louisa born 1862 VT, died aged 21y
Mary born 1866 VT, married Wm H Gregory
Emily (Emma) born July 1867 VT, married William Brock - lived at Troy VT
Naploeon (Paul) born 1870 VT, married Kate Pierce Blodgett
Willie born 1872 VT, died young
Ella born 1874 VT, married Arthur H Bashaw -
possible 2nd marriage to James Brown (living in Framingham MA 1939 &
Woodville MA in 1949)
Marcellous/Mark Carrow who married Helen Putnam was a harness maker and
had a shop in Haverhill up until c1908. I believe that Napoleon (Paul)
and Kate Pierce Blodgett also lived near by at Lawrence until 1898.
Napoleon was in the Calvary and was a saddle maker, prior to that he
worked for a H A Prescott who had a shop on Broadway, Lawrence.
Thank you

Hi: I am new to this list and am trying to research my grandfather's brother
a Walter Stewart. He worked at Ford when it was just getting started
apparently. I wonder if someone knows where the records from Ford would be.
I'd love to find his descendents if there are any.. Walter lived in Detroit
I understand at the turn of the century. Thanks for your help. Is the
Michigan Census for 1891 indexed by name by any chance Ginny Bunte
