According to what my father Informed my mother, brother, sister and myself.
We are not related to any other Allen families. In fact, our true lineage
on his side on his side is in the Owens and Beall families. However, the
help that I need for this original query is in my mother's lineage. I am
seeking information about a William Higgins who was my grandfather. My
mother and her siblings had been told that their father had a nervous
breakdown and was unable to raise them after my grandmother passed away. He
was suppose to have wound up in a mental institution.

I have done research on an Allen family that lived in Harford County
and
Baltimore City. Have you done any research on that one?
