Rockville: Mrs. Sarah Virginia Hughes wife of Benjamin C. Hughes died
suddenly was here Wednesday of heart failure. She was stricken a few minutes
after returning from a home of a friend. She is Survived by her husband and
the following chidden: Mrs. Jason Hoyle, Mrs. Thomas Barnsley , Mrs. Irving
Hoskinson and Miss Rose Hughes this county and Mrs. Joseph Bowers (it is hard
to make out ) . And Rodger Hughes of Washington, DC.

George B. F. Walter aged 79 years died last Friday at his home at Dickerson
this county, his death being due to paralysis with which he was stricken
about a month ago. Mr. Walterwas a lifelong resident of this county, For many
of years and at the time of his death he was an employee of the Chesapeake
and Ohio Canal Company.

Miss Dora Stanley aged 28 years died at Boyd's on Monday last from ptomaine
poisoning due it said to claims she ate in Washington. She is survived by her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Fleet Stanley; two sisters and a brother.

William H. Winchell aged 78 years for many years school teacher in Frederick
and Montgomery Counties died at Boyd's last Monday. He was one of the First
teachers in this county to be given pension. He is survived by two sons and
two daughters.
