There's been another update to the "Baltimore City Nineteenth-Century
Photos" website. Just shy of 20 photos, but more than two dozen new
surnames.
Here are a few highlights: A 1904 Presidential Judge of Elections
Campaign photo ... nobody's recounting votes here. Teddy Roosevelt
won. Look under Ningard, Theodore or Scott, James.
We have our first Civil War photo ... a really nice shot of a Union
soldier from Baltimore who appears to be getting ready to leave for
duty. Look under Ningard, George. Another military photo, this one
from the Spanish American War depicts a Marine in uniform. Check out
Lang, Herman.
Lastly, another first for this site: Hazel Josselyn in a 1904
photograph, is still living and looking forward to her 99th birthday!
She is also eager to see her photo on the net!
There are lots more that I haven't mentioned. Please take a look
around and enjoy the site. I'd be happy to hear from anyone who wants
to contribute or just has comments.
THANKS to EVERYBODY for helping make this web page work!
