Hi Bob,
Do they still have a bus running from the Maryland Appeals Court outside of
Annapolis to the Archives in Annapolis. Many years ago, we visited the
library or something in the Appeals building to do some research, then took
a jitney bus into the Archives in Annapolis, leaving our car parked at the
Appeals Building.

It only takes about 1/2 hour between the two facilities. Nat. Arch.
is in
Silver Spring off the Belt way toward College Park, turning south unto New
Hampshire Ave. and the MdSA is right off Rt 50 taking Rowe Blvd into
Annapolis by the Stadium. Even in Rush hour it should take more than about
45-50 minutes between the two. Annapolis is about 21 miles from DC. I take
this route from the Eastern Shore to get to work with the "DC Bandits"
high tech firms I contract to. Just a word of advice ...if you're going
the speedlimit, you're probably hindering traffic ...LOL, also if you want
to drive fast around the beltway, often that's in the right hand lane.
Seems the DC-ites have things a little backwards. Should you ever break
down on the beltway, don't look at anyone in the eyes. Those folks get
absolutely evil.
