Karon, I show several Thomas O'Bannons in my research. Can you give me birth and/or
death dates. I can perhaps pinpoint more closely to your line. By the late 1800's my
O'Bannons were in Louisana. They had continually moved westward, but they originated
in Northern VA in about the 1750's.

Hello
I am looking for both. I think I found my gggrandfather Thomas O'Bannon. He
had a son name James T. O'Bannon who later dropped the O. I am not sure when
he did so but by 1920 he was James T. Bannon in Baltimore. I know the
O'Bannon family was in Harpers Ferry in the late 1880s. They seem to be
connected to working the Railroad. I have more names. My GGGrandmother was
Catherine. (Thomas.) James T also married a Catherine Robinson. She was
from Md. They had four children. Joseph T., Helen Mary, Donald A. and
Catherine. If your relatives are from that area they must be related. Also,
James T had 2 sister Mary, Margaret and a brother Andrew. My uncle Donald is
buried next to Andrew at Loudon Park in Baltimore. I have gathered all this
information from the archives and it all seems to fit. If you have any more
data I would love to have it. Thanks for responding.
