Ladies & Gentlemen ~
I am looking for documentation to prove or disprove if Isaac Webster,
William Wilson Jr. and Benedict Edward Hall signed the Bush Declaration on
March 22, 1775. All three men were in attendence at the meeting on March
22, 1775 how ever their signatures are not present on the document nor is
there any notation that they refused to sign.
However, on a copy of the originial document that appears in C. Milton
Wright's Our Harford Heritage on pg. 356 there are several circuluar
drawlings.
Could these be the signatures of the three men above? If that is true then
there are 37 signers and not 34 as noted in several published sources.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Christopher T. Smithson, Pres. Gen.
The Hereditary Order of the Singers of the Bush Declaration
