This is from Jack Day a cousin from the Beall list. I just loved what he
said about Reply to all.
The way the Beall List seems to be set up, if you hit "reply" it goes only
to the individual whowrote the note you are replying to, and you need to hit
"Reply All" to have your message go to the entire list.
The purpose of a list is so that discussions can be viewed by all; you never
know when your respone to someone's question may be just the information
that someone else is looking for. (Also, when you're busy, you don't want
to have to say the same thing twice!).
So please use "reply all" when responding to notes, and check your
"to" line
to make sure it is going to the whole list.
The exception of course if you want to have a personal conversation about
someone's health, or whether their family visited for Thanksgiving, etc,
which would be less meaningful to other parties.
