Kathi,
I would very much like a copy of your excel file on tombstone
transcriptions. I am currently working on some cemeteries in Washington
Co., Md. I would like to incorporate your file into my work. I would
appreciate if you could accommodate my request.
Sincerely,

May I suggest/request that whoever does the recording
of the cards and information also photograph the
tombstones and submit everything to the MD Tombstone
Transcription Project? We have a partial transcription
already but would love to have an entire
transcription. Photo transcriptions are a great way to
preserve what is left of old stones and provide a
great service to those folks who are not able to visit
a cemetery.

If the people who are interested in transcribing the
cards/photographing stones would get in touch with me
I have a preformatted Excel sheet and/or Word document
format that can be used to type up the information and
we can have a transcription of St. James for everyone.
