Hello from Hanover, Pa.
You can go to the Enoch Pratt Library Web Site and request a look-up for a
wedding announcement in the Baltimore Sun. You must send them the full
names and date of the marriage. They are very helpful and the first copy is
free. They can also look up obituaries. Good hunting!

Hello friends in Maryland,
I am a German Hobby-Genealogist, living in Siegburg near Bonn, 62 years
old.
My greatest hobby is to research for Ancestors. (First time in U.S.)
>From the Opava Archive in Czechien I received a message about a
grandaunt:
FRIEDEL Marie, *(born) 30.08.1892 at Freiberg (today Pribor in Czech.)
oo (married) 18.01.1914 at Baltimore, USA
PIECZONKA Jan, *02.04.1879 at Mähr. Ostrau (today Ostrava in Czech.)
>From my died mother I know that they lived in Baltimore till the 2. WW.
He
was a butcher and had an own shop.
>From the phone book for the U.S. I got 72 PIECZONKA but no one in
Baltimore.
The IGI (Mormons) and the U.S. Social Security Death Index have nothing.
How can I find the cath. Church where they married to test the correct
data?
How can I go on searching for children? If they had children - I donŽt
know.
Thank you in advance!
Wolfgang F. J. (Klopietz)
