Have you checked Coldham's Patent Books to determine if he obtained land?
If he did, it would at least give you an idea which county he settled in.
Also, there are indices to early will, inventory, account, and court records
at the State Archives in Annapolis. Finally, a 16-volume series of books
entitled the Calendar of Wills was published, I believe by Baldwin. These
are all quick means of identifying early residents and where they lived.
