Have you tried to contact the Prince George's County Genealogical Society?
It may have family folders/Bible records, etc., that might help.

Since I am new to this site, could you tell me what the "Roll Call?" I am
researching the following: "John Frederick Ijams - On May 30, 1833, he was a
resident of Grainger Co., Tenn., when he applied for a Revolutionary pension.
He stated under oath that he was born about 1765, although he was not too
certain about the year of his birth, inasmuch as the house was burned whick
contained the Family Bible. He was a resident of Prince George's County at
the time of his enlistment, but it occurred in Annapolis in 1780. He was
assigned to the First Maryland Regiment under Colonel Peter Adams, place in
the company of Capt. John Woolford Gray. His outfit marched first to
Philadelphia, and then returned to Annapolis before going to Yorktown and was
there about two or three weeks before Cornwallis surrendered...... He
furthermore stated in his claim that on the road from Blandesburg to
Annapolis lived Lloyd Ijams, William Ijams, Richard Ijams, Thomas Ijams and
John Ijams as well as John's borther. Other neighbors were Elisha Green,
Frederick Clark, Richard Whitehead, Edward Whitehead, Christopher Hyatt,
Humphrey Beckett, Joseph Isaac & Samuel Evans. In Anne Arundel en route to
Annapolis lived Rezin Gaither and his sons, Seth Gaither and his sons,
Phillip Hammond & Johsha Gaither and sons. I cannot locate the parents of
this John Frederick Ijams. I have looked at some wills but some do not
mention any children. Really need some help.
