My gg grandfather s name was john grigg higgins smith. b. same date in 1810
when john addison died in 1844 from unloading a wagon jan3. his son addison myrtle
smith (around 9 yrs old) turned up in gg grandfathers household.
Thats the only evidence that they were twins so far-til something conclusive
Twins do run in smith line. My grandparents were faternal twins and of my 5
children 2 were twins.
John addison smith -the gunner during the revolutionary war must have been
JA smiths grandfather otherwise he would have been at least sixty to have
more children. Would like to find if this JA smith died in 1777 if he only served
for 2 months or what.
Was Thomas Addison Smith a son of Richards also? I dont live in area and havent
even begun to search in MD,VA counties.
John addison smith married a cyntha s floyd -yet to find whether they were
married in va or ky. They were in Todd co ky in the 1820s and 1830 census
then went to tazewell co illinois (south of peoria)
John Grigg Higgins was married unknown that had least one son
wesley d smith 1829-1861
JGH remarried in 1844 to Martha Elizabeth Wheeler in Macon Co Illinois
JGH was early doctor to Decatur Illinois. One son george washington smith
1849-1913 was my g grandfather
Please respond at your convience. Would be great to get our smith mystery
solved in months rather than years haha.

hello shirley
My ancestor is the twin brother of john addison smith 1810-1844. His father
or grandfather
was richard smith or john addison smith. I am novice family history
searcher.
If we are related thats great to find a kin. I believe that richard willed
land to
john addison smith in prince george co or baltimore co -dont have the data
at fingertips
I would be greatly excited to hear any and all about these smiths.
sincerely
wayne smith
