I have collected some information on Howard County SIMPSON's and here is
what
I have that might be helpful.
1. Howard County Wills, JS3, fol. 200: SIMPSON, John .. "on account of
advanced age" ... wife Lettie S. ... dear niece Catharine Wallach ...
(witneseses:) Geo. W. Botterel, Winfield S. Walich, J. Louis Snyder. (No
date, but a probate date of 16 Aug. 1892).
2. According to another SIMPSON researcher, the following: Catherine
SIMPSON was the daughter of Charles Ridgely SIMPSON (1806-1854). She was
born 25 OCT 1846 and died 05 APR 1901. She married Frederick SNYDER 05
JUL
1865 in DC. He died ABT 1871. She married Winfield Scott WALLICH 13
FEB
1873, son of Christian WALLICH and Ariana MILLER. He was born 17 OCT 1848
in
Howard Co., MD, and died 28 FEB 1921 in Howard Co., MD.
3. From my visit to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Rt. 216, in HO CO.:
Sarah
A. SIMPSON WALLICH, 11 APR 1843 - 16 AUG 1913.
4. A Catherine SIMPSON is listed in the 1860 Census, 5th District, Howard
