Dear Christine,
My late Father- in-Law served on the USS Chicago. I have a "review" photo
taken in Long Beach, California during the time period in question. I've
saved the photo to my computer in two parts and will gladly send them to you
if this would aid you in the search for your mystery sailor or if photo
might the include your MACK GILLIMORE.
Should any other list member be interested in the photo, please contact at
rama(a)pacific.net so that we don't clutter the list with repeated requests.
Best of luck in your search,
Mary Beth

Subject: [MDGEN] New member's interest - picture of unknown WW2 Sailor
Hi List,
Please take a moment and have a look at the picture of this WW2 Sailor -
do
you know who he is?
http://gallerychristine.photoblog.co.uk
He 'may' have served on the USS CHICAGO or the USS HELENA.
He may have been a friend of Mack GALLIMORE from Denton, NC, who served on
both these ships, up to when the ships were sunk.
I would like to send the original picture to his surviving family.
Any information/ideas/assistance would be most welcomed!
Regards,
Christine
