This has to do with your present, rather than your past.
I knew Bill Grimes when I was growing up in Oakland, up in Garrett County. Our mothers
belonged to a bridge club when we were born. His mother ran the Mt. Lake Hotel - in Mt.
Lake Park - where my 16h birthday party was held. His sister, Martha, is one of my
favorite mystery writers!

Subject: [MDGEN] GRIMES Fact/Lore
Thanks to those who responded to my posting. Every bit helps.
In a publication Titled "Early Setters of Maryland" by Gust Skordas, There
is an index of immigrants compiled from records of land patents in the Hall of
Records, Annapolis. Of interest is a William GRIMES, listed as transported
in 1667. 11 other GRIMES are also listed for the years between 1665 and
1680. Can anyone offer any help in this area.
Billy
