This is so true. A complete name, county (if known), state tidbit's of
sorts would be a help if you expect Help!
For instance, I am looking for Wm. & Annie ()No maiden surname,
PALMER. They had some of their children in Baltimore in the years 1853 &
1851. Two known sons named Henry W. & David Palmer. They migrated, David
in the 1870's, perhaps 1878 & Henry after or at the same time! I don't know
when they either did, but they both died in 1903 different months & they
married, David around perhaps 1879, in Columbiana County < OH to Etta
(though suspect that's a nickname & her actual name was Barbra or Barbria &
raised Dora, Albert, Blanche, Lola. Etta ended up dieing in 1890 not long
after Lola was born in 1889!
Blanche married a Ralph Brothers, Albert married Elsie?, unsure of
her name; & Lola was my great grandma, so I have all her kids. I am trying
to find this family to try to get a paper trail from MD to Ohio! Haven't
had much luck finding Wm & Annie, so if anyone ion the MD area, around
Baltimore, can help, I sure would appreciate the help. I am trying to find
Palmers so perhaps eventually invite them to meet the other members of the
family in Ohio! Happy Hunting, Cathy Raber, FL

With regard to recent postings.
Please, folks, can we have something a little more substantial than :
" {Name}, help needed"
It's vague to the point of bad manners.
MD has a long history, a wealth of records & a whole bunch
more..............
If you are out of state or new to genealogy, please visit a website or your
library, to get you started.

If you seriously care about preserving history, the lives of your ancestors
etc. please make some effort.
