Don
It is great to find a Fallin connection because I do not
know who Amelia Fallin parents are.
She could be a sister of one of the men you mentioned.
She was born during the 1890's in Dorchester and is
buried there according to the cemetery book.
Since this is a new find for me as you can tell from my
postings, I haven't had time to research this Fallin
connection.
BTW--my father who is from whom I descend with this line
and others in Dorchester County was a Chesapeake Bay
Pilot. From all I have learned in doing my family
research it seems most of the pilots who were in the
Maryland Pilot Association prior to WWII were relatives in
one way or another. I mention this because one of the
pilots was named Captain Fallin. I do not know his first
name because I only knew him as a child knows someone.
Everyone was Captain this or Captain that. My father and
he were fairly close friends and about the same age
although again that is from a childrens perspective. My
father was born in 1920. My father is deceased or I would
ask him about Captain Fallin.
Do you know who are Amelia Fallin's parents.
There can't be many Fallin lines in one county. We must
be related. Any help you can provide will be greatly
appreciated.
BTW-where do you live? I was born and raised in Baltimore
City/County. I live now in lower PA close to the
Maryland.
I am going to the MSA tomorrow and doing other research on
Friday and Monday with one of my Norwood cousins. I am
sure you have seen my postings on the BIG reunion Sunday.
I am going to be looking into the McNamara/Fallin
information.
If there is anything I can help you with on the Fallin's,
let me know real soon since I will only be able to get
your email up until about 10 pm tonight, Wednesday.
Although I might be able to check tomorrow at the MSA
from one of there PCs.
