Not that uncommon, especially back then... Remember also, that most people
didn't have quite the lifespan that we have even today...I have one that had
just turned 13. She married a 25 year old man and had 8 children that I
have record of, so far, outliving him by quite a few years also. Course
mine was mid 1700's.

Short Answer is Yes. I think even in the late 1800s marriages of teenage
girls was OK out in the west. The "Family Laws" back then were almost
non-existent and what few there were are not what they are today.
Although she probably did need her parent's consent .
