Bill,
If you haven't already done so, do a Google search for Sixth Maryland
Regiment. A number of sites came up for me.
This one lists a reenactment unit for the 6th MD.

This one describes information on units available at the National
Archives.

I would really appreciate suggestions on how best to research the Sixth
Regiment of Maryland troops in the American Revolution, especially during
1877-1880 (before they moved to the Southern front). My ancester, William
Kinnick (Kennick) was Sergeant Major during this period. I'm interested in
surrounding social history as well a details of military encounters;
diaries
and manuscripts that might be available for examination, at a time in
the
next five years, would be of special interest.
Thank you, for any specific information.
