Hi Fran,
I checked my "Moravian Families of
Graceham, MD" by Henry James Young, and found some info on your family. On
page 66 it says "MILLER, Elizabeth married William Ward". No date is
given.
On page 97, I found "Ward, William,
foreman on Mr. Bruce's plantation, married Elizabeth Miller. Issue:
Sally (1:194), born Jl 26, [1799?]: baptized Je 19 1802. Mary (1:194) born
Je 5, 1801; baptized Je 19, 1802." The numbers in ( ) refer to the
original German records which are now in the Moravian Archives in Bethlehem,
PA.
Since you obviously have more info than
what I found in my book, I would suggest you follow up the the Moravian
Church. They do keep wonderful records.
Good luck with your search.

William and Mary's children were:

Mary b. June 5, 1801, in Frederick Co., MD, m. unk Floyd
Elijah Ward

Abner, d. 1844 in Allegany Co. MD.
William b. Feb. 13, 1812 in Allegany Co., MD, d. March 1877, m. Anna M.
Easter March 26, 1833
Elizabeth m. John McCulloh April 24, 1832
William Ward was an overseer for Normand Bruce in Taneytown, Frederick

Hi everyone,
This week I've added 8 new databases to my site, Awesome Genealogy.
The new databases can be found here:
http://www.awesomegenealogy.com/newstuff.shtml
They include:

Zion Reformed Church Baptisms in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania 1765 - 1861
Naturalization of Jews in Maryland from 1742-1757
Naturalization of settlers in Washington County, Maryland, 1798
Emigrants from the Canton of Schaffhausen 1742
--Most of these Emigrants settled in Pennsylvania, however some also settled in Carolina and Nova Scotia.
Emigrants to Bath County, North Carolina 1695-1696
Old Newspaper Records from the Germantown, Pennsylvania Area in 1781
Old Newspaper Records from the Germantown, Pennsylvania Area in 1782
--These continuing series of extracts from various Newspapers now cover from 1747-1751, 1756-1757, 1767-1770 and from 1781-1782. Details in these vary, with one-line descriptions of possible ancestors to entire paragraphs detailing family lines and when they immigrated to the United States, most often from Germany.
I've also made various updates to the following page:

Is there any other way to find birth death records in Maryland besides Obituaries or Newspapers? (Since I hear the State Dept isn't fulfilling requests anymore?)
I think I found a relative from 1930 who was an "inmate" at Bayview Asylum,
part of City Hospital. I would like to know if he died there. Does anyone
know how I can find that out? Thanks.
Meg,
Thankyou very much for your reply, Do you happen to know where the cemetery
might be there??? I have information that David K. Price is buried there and
want to go check it out.
Will I turn right or left to get there

Some lists (like this one) are set up to Reply to List
and others are set up to Reply to Sender. There's
always been lots of debate amongst Listowners as to
which way is best and each Listowner has the option of
deciding how to have their List work. Personally I
think Reply to List is best because it helps to keep a
List active.
To send a message to someone privately, off-List, just
copy the email address from the posting to the List
and paste it into your email "To" area.
