(Original to E. Gayles)
... check out:
"William Latta, c 1818, Donegal. (The man who suicided in 1876 at
Grassmere near Warrnambool) was Augustus Bostock neighbour and had land
next door. Augustus's diary has multiple references to our ancestor,
William Latta and strangely enough the family that his son, John married
into after his father died. John Latta married my Great Grandmother,
Grace. Her family was Parker and her mother's family were Lindsays. They
are all referred to quite frequently in the book."
Does anyone know of such a connection?
Please respond to Mr Gayles if you know of a family where Latta meets

Can you tell me if there is any relationship between the family name Latta
and the family named Lindsay.
