Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I have been working on the genealogy of my mother's grandfather, Medary
Lashley, born 1844, who is listed on the 1900 New Orleans, La. census as from
I have found 1853 burial records in New Orleans, La. on three Lashley's,
Robert Lashley, of Wash. D.C., his wife, Mary, of Virginia, and a Charles
Lashley,17, born 1836, of Zanesville, Ohio. These might be the parents and
older brother of my mother's grandfather, Medary Lashley. Does anyone have
any connections to Lashley's in Muskingum County with relations who came from
Maryland and Virginia that might be related to my line.

My mail server went down last week and I have not been getting my email.
The server has been fixed but a lot of messages seemed to have gone astray.
