I have just recently found new information about my GG Grandfather - all I have is Alfred Larssen (I think - maybe Lawson) it is hard to read because it is the Ellis Island record. My G Grandfather came to America in 1910 and stated that he was going to see Father: Alfred Larssen in Fowler, Indiana - Benton County. My G Grandfather's name was Johan Karl Alfredsson -- WHen I saw your message about an ALfred Johan Larssen -- it was coincidental. DO you have any information that might be helpful to me? My G Grandfather came from Rolfstorp Sweden -- where he was married to Klara and had 5 children -- Arvid, Ivar, John, Erik and Anny. Klara was pregnant with John when he left and the story I always heard was that he deserted the family. He left his farm in Sweden to come to Indiana for some reason -- he was never heard from again. My grandfather - Arvid came to America when he was an adult and was never able to find him. Johan Karl was traveling with an Olaf Gustavson !
that ended up going to Duluth, MN -- maybe my grandfather went with him?????
