Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

William Lamphere was b. ca 1855 - to Carroll Lamphear and Lucy.
Who Carroll is - is a complete mystery.
In 1880 there is a William Lamphere and wife Lucy in Ledyard. Lucy is a
Christie - dau of Johnathan.
Just wondering -- could there be an association between Lanphear/Lamphere and this Lamphree's dock, situated roughly in Coxsackie, NY (which happens to be where I'm able to pick up my Lamphier line)? See link below
Or does that seem a spelling too far removed. Any thoughts?
