Searching for information and/or descendents of Thomas and Elvira (Burroughs)
Lanphear (Lamphear) - were in Warren Co., Iowa in 1860; in Allen County, Ks.
1870. One daughter, Louisa B apprx 1856 in Iowa. Father was Jason Lamphear
D. Jefferson Co., Iowa. But, I've found that Thomas seemed to spell his
"LANPHEAR". Any information where they went after Allen Co., Ks. would be
greatly appreciated. Thomas was my Grt-Grt Grandmother's only living brother
and he is the only one I am missing of her siblings. Thank you very much.

Hello rooters. I was just wondering if I am the only subscriber to the
Lanphear-L roots. There never seems to be any posts here. I took a shower
this morning so I am sure I don't smell, so that shouldn't keep you away.
Anyway, I am looking for connections to my Great grandfather Charles
Steadman Lanphear. I don't have much information on him. He may have possibly
once lived in New York, perhaps after immigrating to the U.S. A. Born
January1873 and was married to Susan Lee (from England) No information on her
either. They had 5 Children:
Charles E. born July 1857
Albert Born December 1862
Hattie birth date unknown
Adelaide Sussana born March 27, 1857
and Edwin C. born August 1859
All of the children were born in Wisconsin
anyone with these names in their family history can E-Mail me. I would be
happy to share information that I have obtained.
