I am still searching for Belle Lankford who married Frank Taylor. They had 2 children, James (Jim) Taylor and his sister, Bell. The two children wound up in Milam Co TX being raised by James Evans and his wife Susan. Jim was born abt 1875 although his WWII application says 1877. His sister Bell was said to have been born abt 1876 but that might not be correct since they were very young when "adopted" by the Evans couple.
I have searched census records and have not been able to find a lead. This couple was listed on the death certificate of Jim Taylor in1933 as his parents. If anyone has a Belle or Isabelle or someone with a middle name of Belle you have not been able to tie to I would appreciate it if you would contact me. I have been looking for Belle and husband Frank Taylor for about 7 years. I have reason to believe they both may have died between 1876 and 1880 somewhere in Texas. They were supposed to have been from TN. Any leads would be very much appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Ramona Phillips - granddaughter of James or Jim Taylor
