I am searching for the surname LANDREE/LANDRY. Before 1837 it was spelt
LANDRY and after John Baptist LANDDRY bought a piece of property in Macon
County Missouri. In which the name is spelled four times twice one way and
twice the other after that time it has been spelt John Baptist LANDREE. My
John was born January 6, 1790 in Lower, Canada possibaly Kamouraska, he
married in the 1820's Ann Jeanette TAYLOR and died October 18, 1878 in
Bloomington, Macon County, Missouri. He spent most of his adulthood and all
but one of his children were born in Parkersburg, West Virginia. I can't
seem to prove the family before then. Is there anyone out there that we can
help each other. Thank you.
