I found James Taylor b. 26 Mar 1871, c. 7 May 1871, at Ashton under Lyne/St.
Michael. Father: Jonathon Taylor, mother, Betty. FHL Film 1538436
Also, I had a quick look for the marriage, but didn't see anything that
matched or was even very close. Hope this helps.

CATHERINE BEARSHAW my grans Scotish birt cert says they were married in
