Following on from Jackie 's info on the marriage I found, courtesy of John Riley,
the entry at Swinshaw Barn,on the 1841, that is a GOOD fit.
James age 40 coal miner
Anna age 20 cotton weaver
Mary age 15
Butterworth age 15
Ann age 12
Alice age 10
Thomas age 2
I then found a marriage on the IGI for
James Riley to Sarah Butterworth 9th of April 1820 at St Mary's Bury,which is
confirmed on the marriage index for St Mary and James Riley is described as a miner.
