I have a general question regarding entries for baptisms in Liverpool.
There is a baptismal entry for an Agnes Stewart in St. Peter's Church in 1845. Both
parents names are listed and so is the husband's occupation.
The father died in Liverpool and I am trying to determine when he may have died. (The
quarterly listings of deaths in Lancashire have been explored, but there are more than a
few James Stewarts listed!)
If a father has died before the birth of a child, would any entry be made in the baptismal
record that would indicate he was deceased?
Thank you for your help.
