This might be an imposition on your time and kindness, but I wonder if
details from All Saint's, Elton, include any christenings? Let me
why I ask.
A long while ago I found a baptism transcription on a website that no
appears to exist. It said that on May 27, 1860, four children of
Nuttall and Elizabeth of Elton were baptized together, though the children
were born in different years: William 1847; Sarah 1849; Alice 1853 and
Martha 1856. The father was listed on the transcript as a stone mason. I
would dearly like to know if this was an accurate transcript, because if
was, it is yet another screwy fact in a string of facts about my
Nuttall's occupations through the years [clogger, farmer, quarryman, gold
miner] and the story seems to be getting curiouser and curiouser!
I am about to send for the marriage certificate that you detailed for me,
I can get the witnesses.
Many thanks for all your help.
