I found an ancestor, William STARR, on the 1891 census living at:
The Cosy, Manchester, St. George district, Lancashire
Apparently there were over
100 people at that residence on census night 1891.
I think the residence was at PUMP STREET in St. George District.
Would any kind person on the list know if The Cosy was a Workhouse or
Hospital of some sort? and what area of Manchester it would be today..
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
