CHORLEY BRANCH MEETING - Thursday 21 March 2019, 7.30 pm
Cunliffe Hall (Chorley Masonic Hall), Cunliffe Street, Chorley, PR7 2BE
Tonight, our own Steve Williams: My Ancestor was a Freemason.
Men from all walks of life joined a Lodge; perhaps one of your ancestors did too: Grocer,
Cotton Spinner, Doctor, Publican, Musician – who knows.
This evening will also be our AGM, which includes the election of the Committee.
This section will be kept as brief as possible, and we ask all members to consider if they
can offer themselves for a position, as fresh ideas are always very much appreciated.
The doors will open at 7pm, but will have to be locked at 7:40pm, so please make sure you
arrive in time.
A raffle will be held during the evening, and refreshments will be available following the
talk. A modest 50p is suggested.
As always, a warm welcome awaits everyone, admission is free, but donations from
non-members are very much appreciated.
Application forms to join the Society will be available, please just ask.
