Dear Nan and other BOSTOCK researchers.
The first Bostock link I have is Edward Bostock 1604 who
married Ellen Minshall as her second husband and lived at Farndon
on the border almost of Cheshire and Staffs. He was an apprentice
ironmonger at Chester where Jonathan had an Ironmongery Shop
in Bridge Street. Edward died 1645.
To then follow the confirmed line I have :-
JONATHAN BOSTOCK married MARTHA BRIDGE in 1699. Martha died 1713
after 5 children:- Alice,Richard,Nathan,Joseph,Phillip b.1709.
Where are the families of all these Bostock male children......PLEASE !!!
JONATHAN then married ELIZABETH ROBERTS July 1714 at St.Peters, Chester..
and had issue Martha, Peter, Deborah, Daniel, Samuel and Esther b.1722.
This PETER BOSTOCK married ELIZABETH BLEASE in 1742 and had a son
ROBERT BOSTOCK b.1743 who married 1770 to ELIZABETH WILKINSON
at Tarvin....This Robert died 1793 after being in the Royal Navy and working
the slave trade. He was taught the trade by his uncle John BOSTOCK ???? at
His father Peter Bostock had died in 1767.
This same Peter Bostock had another son ROBERT BOSTOCK b.1746.
I hope this gives a few more clues to some BOSTOCK/BLEASE RESEARCHERS.
Sincerely in Searching Thelma (Bostock) Birrell at Maroochydore.
