William Cotton Laming (1817-1861) and his son Robert Laming (b ca 1856 - ?) and their respective families lived in Rotterdam and what is now the Hague (s'Gravenhage) and had an interest in shipping. Robert's children went to school in Holland until about 1910, when I expect the imminence of WW1 made them retreat back to Kent, where the family home was at Birchington.
Can anyone please help in tracing more about this family? Robert was my Great Grandfather.
