If anyone has contacted me in the last month re my One Name Study, please
email me again as ,due to computer problems, I have lost all my emails.
For those who don't know I am collecting all references to the surname
Lakeman worldwide but particularly in the UK as that is where I have access
to the records. I have a database of GRO Births/Marriages & Deaths plus
Census entries for Devon & Cornwall, some Parish Register entries and
various miscellaneous records. My own LAKEMAN ancestors are Peter and
Sibella Lakeman who were in Mevagissey in Cornwall in 1720 but I don't know
where they came from.
All queries answered to the best of my knowledge and all contributions
