I believe this is Mary A. Lagrone, attested to in the 1850 Stewart Co., GA Census,
326/532, 31st Dist. p.77. Her parents were, as you say, David Lagrone and Elizabeth E.
Lofton, as suggested in 1832 Gold Lottery of Georgia. Libery Co, Maker's Mil Dist. Lot
528, Dist 2, Sec 3.; 1850 Stewart Co., GA Census, 326/532, 31st Dist. p.77; 1860 Census
of Taylor County, GA pages 903-9251.
He is also probably listed in the 1810 Newberry Census - Jacob Lagrone, Sr , and the 1830
Crawford Co., GA Census p. 407. His parents , I believe were John "Jacob"
Lagrone, and Pat [probably Rhinehart]. The documentation on Jacob Lagrone is pretty
straightforward, and he was a son of Tobias Lagrone (Johannes Tobias LeCrown) who came
over in 1752 on the Upton with his father Laurenz LeCrown and their families from Schoenau
