Terry: I am not sure whether this helps or confuses the situation, but I have two different Lagrone families in my own lineage. They originate in the Newberry/Edgefield S.C. area and they appear to have migrated westward with the Rinehart, Riser, Sease and Renwick families. I show an Elizabeth Lagrone b. 1814 d. abt 1865 married to Michael Rinehart. Elizabeth's father was David Lagrone (dates unknown) and his wife is a Christenah LNU. I have seen some records of a christening in the Newberry area in which one of my Renwick forefathers was a witness. David's father was John W. Lagrone b. 1755 d. 1803 and his mother is Mary Houseal b. 1760 d. 1835. John W.'s father is Tobias Lagrone b. 1730 d. 1786. Tobias' daughter Anna M. married Mathais Rinehart. Assuming that you understand this I would be interested in sharing information.
