I was waiting to see if someone more knowledgeable than I would answer your
question.......but here I go........my scanner came with a introductory copy
of Omni Page Pro. I used it, did not like the way that it copied old text
papers, they needed a lot of editing. I wrote Technical Support, they told
me that the version I had did not do the things that the full version would
do, SOOOOOO, I ordered the Omni Page 9.0......which still leaves me with
quite a bit of editing, it does a better job of highlighting things that
need to be edited than the lesser version does, but I am not sure it was
worth that much more money.....So, maybe you might want to check out the
Text Bridge Plus......maybe they have a return policy that gives you a few
trial days.....some places do...

Subject: [LAGENWEB-L] Advice Please
Hi folks,
I need advice on which OCR program to buy. Please.
I've downloaded a trial of Omni Page Pro and like what I see there. But
I'm
interested in finding out about Text Bridge Plus also, I found it to
be
less expensive than Omni Page Pro and available nearby. Are they
basically
the same ?
I really need help with this one. I have a ton of stuff to add to the
Archives. Just need to know which program will help me get it up the
fastest and best way possible.
Thank You,
Kathy LeMay Kelly
