OK, I did temporarily forget that Linda was the coordinator of
Assumption Parish. That was because I never updated the main Parish
Selection page and it still had me as Temporary Coordinator. I went to
visit the site and was quickly reminded that Linda had been taking care
of it, and quite well at that.
Thanks Linda for doing a fine job with the site.
and thanks to all who have responded to the roll call request. I will
be checking e-mail addresses for those who have not responded so far.
To those who have asked for updated e-mail addresses, I will get those
updated in the next couple of days.
Thanks again to all the volunteers,
Edward

I wondered about that! I know it shows Linda as PC on the Parish

Bienville is being updated - corrected some links pointing to Rootsweb that
are now on our own server at USGW Archives.
Does anyone know if we have a program to recognize long-time PC's who
retire?
I would like to see Peggy Tebbetts given some recognition for all her hard
work over the years.

Subject: [LAGENWEB] Coordinator Checkin - Website check and updates
I have been checking the main LAGenWeb index page at
lagenweb.net (by
the way,
lagenweb.org and
lagenweb.com all go to the lagenweb site).
I found several sites with minor items which need to be fixed and most
have been notified. In addition, a number of pages still have "last
updated" dates that are very old. I know that usually this is because
you don't make changes to the main page when other pages are updated,
so I recommend that we not have last updated dates on the home pages.
Please consider removing them so your pages do not look stale.
I am looking for David A. Lewis of Lincoln Parish. his e-mail address
has been bouncing for quite some time now, and his page appears to not
have been updated either.
I have made a copy of his page and placed it on
lagenweb.net - at
http://www.lagenweb.net/lalincoln . I hope to get in touch with him,
have his pages updated and send visitors back to his page.
Please check the main Parish page at
www.lagenweb.net to see that your
information is correct if you will. In fact, I would like everyone to
reply to this message so I know you are there. We don't need any more
missing coordinators.
We need coordinators for several parishes... Bienville, Assumption, and
perhaps Lincoln (after we try to find David)
Thanks for all you do to keep the project going.
Edward
